The Rack by Kachins, Dubai
The Rack by Kachins, was our first step into retail garments, and we had to make it count. There’s some kind of royalty, attached to this name that had to be portrayed and materialized in every corner and design, nonetheless, gracing the same with subtlety. We made use of antique mirrors, Turkish chandeliers, and brass display units, to carry the most valuable treasure of them all, traditional Indian, clothes. Since there was an Indian touch attached to the brand, we used Mughal engravings on the hangers, each differing from the previous, with a tale to tell. The entrance to a store, speaks volumes about the inclusivity and shopping experience, which is why we created DOORWAY DRAMA, as if ones entering a grand Indian wedding. We used carved arched doors, moldings and a herd of chandeliers to bring out the same.
